Roma VF Tomato Seeds
Roma VF tomato is a determinate, paste-style tomato produced by Premier Seeds, a reputable producer of treated crop seeds.
- Roma VF has thick, meaty flesh and relatively few seeds. In addition, the Roma VF is resistant to both Verticillium and Fusarium wilts (hence the “VF”).
- The vines are compact and yield copious amounts of 3-inch long fruits that come out either pear- or plum-shaped. Set in a sunny location and get ready for a large harvest.
- This tomato variety will produce about 15 cherry red tomatoes per cluster, offering around 200 fruits per plant every growing season.
- Our Roma tomatoes turn red once they are ripe.
- Kindly note that if your tomatoes are still green, then it will take about 10 days to change from pink to bright red.

How do I grow Roma VF?
- Roma VT tomato plants should be started indoors 7-8 weeks before the last frost of the season.
- Sow your seeds into nutritious, moist soil and place them on a sun-facing windowsill. Your Roma tomato seeds will have germinated after 14 days and will have started to sprout.
- Common causes plant stress which is usually a result of lack of watering or irregular watering times. Water daily (twice on hot days) and give each plant good soaking to improve crop yield.
- Sow seeds ¼ inch deep in seed-starting formula.
- As soon as seedlings emerge, provide plenty of light on a sunny windowsill or grow seedlings 3-4 inches beneath fluorescent plant lights turned on 16 hours per day, off for 8 hours at night.
- Seedlings do not need much fertilizer, feed when they are 3-4 weeks old using a fertilizer solution.
