Cucumber Oliveira Bold F1 is a hybrid cultivar of cucumber seeds. This type of variety is indeterminate parthenocarpic cucumber seeds that produce quality fruits that are dark-green in colour with an average size of 16-17cm. The fruits produce no thorn on the skin. The hybrid is high yielding with an average of 8 fruits per stand. The plants reach maturity early and the plants are highly tolerant to high temperatures with good resistance to diseases.
Harvesting
Cucumbers will grow quickly with little care. Be sure they receive an inch of water every week. Make the most of your food growing efforts by regularly feeding plants with water-soluble plant food. When soil is warm, add a layer of straw mulch to keep fruit clean and help keep slugs and beetles away. Harvest cucumbers when they begin to fill out but before they completely lose their ridges. They should still be dark green and firm but not hard. Cucumbers can always be harvested smaller when they are young and tender, especially for pickling.
