Description

Treated White Cabbage Seeds

This medium early hybrid is suitable for subtropical climates and tropical highlands. Plants are large with
a blue-green colour.

Heads are semi-round in shape, very firm and have an average weight of 2,5 – 3,0 kg.
Balashi gives high yields and a nice uniform product. Suitable for subtropical climates and tropical
highlands.
More commonly known as the cannonball cabbage, it is one of the most popular cabbage varieties. It is so named for the way its leaves wound tightly over one another in a dense, compact fashion; with the final product resembling a cannonball. Its dense leaves make it perfect for shredding into coleslaw.

Planting

Sow seeds ¼ inch deep in the soil. Space cabbages at least 24-36 inches apart in even spacing or 12-14 inches apart in rows spaced 36-44 inches apart. For more information on growing cabbage seeds, click here.
