Description
Adacox is indicated for the treatment of:
Poultry: Intestinal coccidiosis, mixed coccidial and bacterial infections, Pullorum disease, fowl typhoid, E. coli infections.
Calves, lambs, and piglets: Enteritis caused by coccidial and bacterial infections.
Composition
Adacox contains per gram:
Sulphadimidine sodium: 740mg
Diaveridine HCL: 80mg
Vitamin A: 15,000 IU
Vitamin K3: 5mg
Contraindications
Do not administer Adacox to animals hypersensitive to sulphadimidine sodium or diaveridine.
Dosage and Administration
For oral administration via drinking water.
Poultry: 100g per 500 liters of drinking water within 5 days (equivalent to 20mg per kg bodyweight).
Calves, lambs, and kids (use of drenching gun is recommended): 1g per 60 kg body-weight per day, within 4-5 days.
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.
Precaution
Do not combine Adacox wsp with other anti-bacterial, coccidiostatic or coccidiocidal drugs.
Withdrawal period
Meat: 12 days
Eggs: 12 days
Storage
Store in a dry, dark place between 2oC and 25oC.
Store in closed packing, away from air.
Keep away from children.
