Description
The teak tree (Tectona grandis) is a tree grown from Teak Tree Seedlings. It is planted in tropical to sub-tropical areas throughout the globe, not only for ornamental reasons but also in plantations for commercial timber production.
Timber from this tree is a valuable tropical wood. Teak wood is particularly valued for its durability, hardness and water resistance.
