| Item | Quantity | Offer |
|---|---|---|
| Golden NPK 20:20:20 fertilizer | 10 bags | Purchase |
| Plantain suckers | 50 suckers | FREE with the qualifying purchase |
Purchase requirement: 10 bags of Golden NPK 20:20:20 fertilizer.
Your bonus: 50 free plantain suckers.
NPK 20:20:20 provides three primary plant nutrients: nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Under standard fertilizer labelling, the grade represents 20% nitrogen, 20% phosphate expressed as P₂O₅ and 20% potash expressed as K₂O.
Each nutrient has a different role in plant development:
| Nutrient | Role in Crop Growth |
|---|---|
| Nitrogen — 20% N | Supports green growth and the production of proteins needed by plants. |
| Phosphate — 20% P₂O₅ | Supplies phosphorus, which contributes to cell division and root, flower and fruit development. |
| Potash — 20% K₂O | Supplies potassium, which supports water regulation, carbohydrate movement and other plant processes. |
The appropriate fertilizer programme depends on the crop, soil nutrient supply and stage of growth. Use soil testing and crop-specific recommendations to determine whether this grade meets your farm’s needs.
The 50 free plantain suckers give you planting material for a planned plantain project. Use them to establish a new section or expand an existing planting area according to your farm layout and management plan.
If you already need fertilizer and intend to grow plantain, this offer brings the two purchases together. It makes it easier to include both crop nutrition supplies and planting material in your procurement plan.
The benefit is straightforward: purchase the stated 10 bags and receive 50 plantain suckers free. You can plan around a defined fertilizer quantity and a defined number of planting materials.
Allocate the fertilizer across your farm according to the needs of the crops you grow. Plan the plantain suckers as a separate planting activity, with suitable land, water and labour available for establishment.
This offer may suit:
The fertilizer quantity in this promotion is a purchase quantity. Determine application rates separately using the product label and recommendations for your soil, crop and growth stage.
For plantain production, nutrient management should reflect local soil conditions and production needs. Fertilizer formulation and application can be adjusted as part of an appropriate soil fertility programme.
Prepare your planting area and arrange adequate water before establishing the suckers, especially when planting during a dry period.
Get more from your planned input purchase. Buy 10 bags of Golden NPK 20:20:20 fertilizer from Afrimash and get 50 plantain suckers FREE.
