 Another month bites the dust, and what a month it’s been! Buckle up, because we’re about to take a deep dive into everything that’s been happening here at Afrimash HQ. But ditch the boring old “monthly wrap-up” vibes – we’re keeping it fun, informative, and (dare we say) sassy.

April zipped by in a whirlwind of activity, and we at Afrimash couldn’t be happier with all the progress we made together. This month was a potent blend of celebration, education, and strategic planning, all fueled by the amazing energy of our incredible team (that’s you!). Afrimash Fun After Hours: De-Stressing for the Win!

Let’s face it, work can be stressful. Deadlines loom, emails pile up, and sometimes you just want to unwind without thinking about spreadsheets (or that sassy client you chatted with earlier). That’s where our Happy Hour swoops in like a knight in shining… well, maybe not shining armor, but definitely with a cold drink in hand.

This month’s Happy Hour was all about letting loose and connecting with your fellow Afri-marshals on a more casual level. We had games, laughter, and enough good vibes to power a small village. It was the perfect way to de-stress, recharge, and come back to work feeling refreshed and ready to tackle anything.

This dedicated time allowed our Afri-marshals to unwind after a productive day, connect with colleagues on a more personal level, and simply have some fun. It was a fantastic opportunity to de-stress, recharge our batteries, and foster that special Afrimash camaraderie we all cherish.

HR Huddle: Remembering the Afrimash roots

Speaking of recharging, our awesome HR team hosted a special HR Session this month. It wasn’t just your average “benefits and policies” snoozefest (although, hey, those are important too!). This session was all about reminding ourselves of the Afrimash culture – the values that make us who we are and what keeps us moving forward.  It was a great opportunity to reconnect with the core of what makes Afrimash special, and it left everyone feeling inspired and motivated to keep living those values every day.  We’re all about building something amazing here, and HR  played a big part in reminding us of that this month.

We reconnected with the company culture that binds us,  keeping that Afrimash spirit burning bright!

Afrimash quarterly meeting: reflecting on Q1 and gearing up for the future

Now, let’s get down to some business (but still in a cool way, promise). Our Quarterly Meeting this month was all about reviewing our performance for the first quarter of the year. We dug into the numbers, celebrated our wins (and there were a lot!), and identified areas where we can grow even stronger.

It was a chance to see how far we’ve come together and set our sights on even bigger goals for the rest of the year. We’re a team that thrives on challenges, and this meeting only fueled our fire to keep pushing the boundaries and making Afrimash the absolute best it can be. This introspective session equipped us with valuable insights to propel us towards an even stronger future.

Welcome Aboard, Jonathan Crouch: Afrimashs’ New Advisory Board Member

We’re also excited to announce the newest member of our Advisory Board, the amazing Jonathan Crouch! Jonathan brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, and we’re thrilled to have him on board. Beating the Heat: Our Webinar on Managing Heat Stress ☀️

Nigeria can get pretty toasty, and let’s be honest, nobody functions well when they’re feeling like a melted popsicle. That’s why we hosted a special webinar on Managing Heat Stress in poultry farming. It was a fantastic session that left everyone feeling empowered to take charge of their well-being during the hot season. After all, a happy and healthy Afri-marshall is a productive Afri-marshall!
