Last month, Afrimash was proud to join the inaugural meeting of the Nigerian Public-Private Multistakeholder Platform (Abuja) to support last-mile animal health service delivery. With an array of stakeholders from the public sector, private sector, academic institutions, financial institutions, NGOs, and various related associations from Nigeria gathered together for this important cause, it was an excellent opportunity for us to partake in such an important initiative. The focus of the meeting was to improve the existing veterinary paraprofessional business environment and enhance support across linkages, regulation/communication, input supply, access to finance, and policy development.

With our mission of connecting rural veterinarians with reliable supplies at affordable prices while providing comprehensive services tailored to their needs, Afrimash is committed to making veterinary services accessible to all. We were thrilled to be included in this meeting and participate in the discussion on how best to collaborate across sectors to overcome existing or potential blockers that impede effective animal health service delivery.

I must really commend the organizing team for drawing in an array of stakeholders, talents, and key decision-makers across the public sector, private sector, academic institutions, financial institutions, NGOs, and various related associations across Nigeria.

The focus was to improve the existing veterinary paraprofessional business environment and enhance support across linkages, regulation/communication, input supply, and access to finance, as well as policy development to address existing and potential blockers to effective animal health service delivery.

2023 presents as many challenges as it holds exciting promises, and Afrimash Company Limited will be part of the supporting team that will drive such changes to make the world a better place.

At Afrimash, we believe everyone should have access to quality veterinary services regardless of location or financial status. We are thrilled at having had the opportunity to partner with EuFMD at this multistakeholder platform where we could participate actively in discussions on improving the existing veterinary paraprofessional business environment so that animals everywhere can benefit from better healthcare access. We are confident that with continued cooperation between different sectors and entities involved, we will be able to move closer to achieving our ultimate goal!

We look forward to more such partnerships and collaborations!
